Votes for the Green Party across the South East went up 3.7% in the May 7 Parliamentary election (over a quarter of a million people voted Green). Over a third of deposits were saved (30 out of 83) and the average vote share was 5.2% (1.4% last time).Read more

The Greens have challenged the Tories sell off pledge, saying that 8650 affordable homes need to be built each year in the South East. New social housing, and ending the right to buy have been identified as essential to addressing the housing crisis in the Green Party manifesto published this week.
