The South East Green Party is celebrating keeping its three Council seats in Reading and one in Reigate and Banstead after a hard fought campaign, whilst reflecting on losses in Oxford. It lost two seats on Oxford City Council which went to Labour.

Green PCC candidate in Sussex polls nearly 10%

Greens in Sussex are celebrating after Green Party candidate James Doyle gained 9.49% of the first-preference vote in the Police and Crime Commissioner elections, with 26,038 votes.   In Brighton and Hove, the Green first-preference vote was 20.77%.
