Learn how to use NationBuilder to recruit volunteers, canvass voters and raise funds in a series of short webinars, run by the web co-ordinater for the Oxfordshire and South East Green Parties.
Several local Green Parties are starting to use the tools available from nationbuilder.com to run their 2016 election campaigns. They keep track of everything they know about voters, supporters, volunteers and members in a central database. From that they produce canvassing sheets (walk lists) for door knocking, invite people to volunteer and to sign up for events, and send out reminders to help the campaign (with time or money).
Any local Green Party in SE England can make use of the tools on this site, segreens.com, after training. Several local parties have set up their own NationBuilder sites, such as Oxfordshire, Sheffield and some of the London parties.
David Newman has been running a NationBuilder site for Oxfordshire since January 2013, and launched this one a year later. In that time he has learned what works, and what doesn't work. As people kept telephoning me to ask questions, I've decided to run some online training webinars, so that I can answer several people's questions at the same time.
You will see the first 4 times listed as shifts below. Please sign up for whichever is most convenient for you. In the comment box, list what you would like to learn. If at least two people sign up for a session, I will run a Google Hangout at that time.
