Hustings for the Leader and Deputy Leader roles in the Green Party of England and Wales will be held for the South East Region on Sunday July 10th at 11am (subject to confirmation by candidates nearer the time).
The hustings are being held at South East Greens' away weekend which is being held in the rural setting of the Quadrangle, Shoreham, Kent.
The venue is well connected by rail and road. On Sunday July 10th you can get trains from Charing Cross leaving at 0856 and 0926 - the journey takes just over an hour. The walk from Shoreham station is about 20 minutes off road. You can also travel from London Victoria to Otford - frequent departures with a journey time of under an hour. This also involves a walk to the venue along footpaths. Please request a lift if you have mobility issues.
The venue is also accessible from the M25 and parking is available (please lift share - ask us if you want help with this).
Your donation covers the cost of venue hire and event organisation. If you are on a low income and would like to apply to our access fund please get in touch (our intention is to exclude no one for reason of affordability).
Only Green Party members are able to vote in the leadership hustings. You can join here
The hustings are part of the South East away weekend. If you would like to attend for more events over the weekend you can get more information and book here and your hustings attendance will be included if you pick the whole weekend or Sunday morning.
If you would like to attend the whole of Sunday morning and enjoy a veggie/vegan lunch please book the Sunday and lunch ticket on the weekend website.
If we are unable to run this event because the majority of candidates are unable to attend we will offer you a refund, or reassign your booking to another hustings.
