Information for attendees:
Come and enjoy a weekend of discussions, training, fun and relaxation in the beautiful surroundings of rural Kent. This weekend will bring South East Greens together to learn from each other and gain new expertise in key areas. It will also be a chance to recuperate and learn a bit more about how we activists can best look after ourselves and maintain momentum! We'll be joined for part of the time by our very own Green MP Caroline Lucas and Green MEP Keith Taylor.
The key themes of our programme are:
1) Self care - enjoy the relaxed, peaceful setting and attend workshops on how we green activists and councillors can look after ourselves.
2) Election Campaigning - join discussions of our 2017 election campaigns and how we as a region can prepare for these.
3) Issues based campaigning - join the conversation about how we as a region can campaign more effectively on key issues.
Key speakers include: Caroline Lucas MP / Keith Taylor MEP /Larry Sanders / Adam McGibbon - Campaign Manager / Matthew Butcher, Press Officer / Cami Ouzerdine, Regional Coordinator for London / Mel Strickland, Heathrow 13 / other many more!
The event will begin on Friday 8th July, with arrivals from 4pm until Sunday 10th at 2.30pm.

The weekend will take place at the Quadrangle Trust, a large Victorian farmhouse in Shoreham, Kent. The venue has camping facilities, a number of dormitory beds, and is not far from other local accommodation.
How to get there & facilities
The venue is within walking distance (15-20 mins along a public/country path) of two train stations on the mainline to London. Shoreham Station is on the Thameslink to Kent from London (57 mins to London Bridge) and Otford is on the main line to Victoria (35 mins). The venue is accessible from anywhere in the South East by public transport. The venue is also near the M25 with limited parking on site and disabled parking within the courtyard. The hustings for the Leader and Deputy Leader are being held on Sunday July 10 at 11am (subject to the majority of candidates confirming). If you only want to attend the hustings you can book just for that here.
There's a few key practical considerations for this event so please take a minute to have a look at our guidance.
Accommodation (see booking list at bottom of page for reference)
Accommodation on site is available in a dormitory (women only) with a shared bathroom, shower and kitchen. Please book your ticket below but also email separately [email protected] to confirm this. NB: Dormitory places are limited.
For those in bell tents and the dormitory, beds and linen are provided. Please bring your own towels and washing equipment.
For those not wanting to stay on site, there are a number of options within a short drive. A list can be found here.
There are 6 toilets on site including 2 composting toilets in the camping area. There are 3 showers, one with disabled access and a disabled accessible toilet in the yard.
Disabled visitors: please contact us to discuss your needs.
Food options: you're welcome to bring your own food and cook on site in the camping area, or opt for catered food during the weekend. There's a range of catered options but orders will close on Wednesday 29th June.
There will be limited cash purchases on site - if you find you need food when you arrive please let us know and we will talk to the caterer. He can accommodate orders and payment in cash if he knows at the start of the event or day you arrive. Food is vegan with vegetarian side options. For administrative purposes, we're unable to offer a huge variety of food options - your understanding is appreciated on this!
We will provide hot water for drinks (BYO mug). We'd love it if people could bring food to share (fruit/cakes etc) as the meals are one course and savoury.
