Calling all Kent & Sussex Greens! Join our campaigns training day and learn more about how to coordinate and be part of an effective election campaign.
In 2016 and 2017, council elections offer opportunities to build our representation in areas where we already have councillors, and to expand to new areas. This is a huge chance to make the most of our new and old members, and ensure that we don't lose momentum ahead of the European and General Elections in the upcoming years.
On 16th January, Worthing District Councillor James Doyle is offering interactive, expert training to local parties on the Green Party's campaigning strategy. This will take place in Kent which faces a by-election in Thanet in January, local elections in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells in 2016, and county council elections in 2017. Come along to learn about how to campaign effectively in your local area. This training is open to all green party members in the South East, and in particular, we hope East Sussex members will come and engage in this training.
As part of this training, there'll also be an action day in Maidstone on Feburary 13th, where we will be putting our new skills into action. Further details of that day soon - but please put it in your diary.
Please note: the first hour of this meeting is an AGM for Kent members only.
