Join us for fire, food and drink at Betchworth Castle. Including a tour with the current owner of the castle, Martin.
A hidden local treasure that was the manor house of West Betchworth. The manor
comprised all the land from Box Hill to Forwents Pond on Holmwood Common.
The scale of building is still not known, but Edward I stayed here on 14th May 1294
suggesting a substantial structure. The majority of the surviving fabric probably dates
from the 1570s, and was deliberately left to ruin in the 1830s.
Don't miss Jeff's amazing veggie and vegan BBQ and drinks will be available (extra cost).
The event is a fundraiser for our Surrey election campaigns - come and be inspired by our Green Councillors in Redhill.
Tickets are: £10 for Adults | Under 16's Free
